Hulu Set to Remove a Popular Music Video Channel from Live TV Lineup

The change is set to go into effect late June.

Hulu has announced via email that they are removing one of their music video channels from their Live TV plan.

What’s Happening:

  • The Disney owned streaming service Hulu has announced to subscribers of their Live TV plan that they will be removing all Vevo Features Channel.
  • On June 26th, the channel will no longer be available to Live TV subscribers.
  • Without providing too many details, the service did share that they no longer have the rights to distribute the channel.
  • The Vevo Features Channel showcases a curated lineup of music videos for holidays, cultural moments, and celebrations.
  • Other Vevo content is not affected at this time.
  • The service still promises to continue to provide nearly 100 live channels.
  • For those disappointed in this change, Hulu does allow subscribers to easily change their subscription plans without penalty.
