First Look at Cool Kid Summer Offerings at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios
From a Big Top Bash at Storybook Circus, to GoofyCore at EPCOT and the chance to “Get Animated” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – there’s something special for everyone during Cool Kid Summer at Walt Disney World.
Ahead of the official start of Cool Kid Summer tomorrow, Walt Disney World has shared a first look at many of the ways the young and young at heart can have a blast throughout the resort this summer. Let’s go through park by park and see what awaits…
Magic Kingdom
- Big Top Bash at Storybook Circus: Play and have fun at the Big Top in Storybook Circus at the Magic Kingdom. Guests can join the DJ Ringmaster for a summertime dance party, pop-up silliness with Pluto and kid-friendly midway-style games with even more hands-on activities inside Big Top Souvenirs.
- You’ll even get to see daring circus acts, from unicycle riding to juggling and everything in between.
EPCOT
- GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall: EPCOT guests join Goofy for the ultimate summer party and play experience inside CommuniCore Hall. This immersive takeover features a DJ-led dance party and beloved kids’ games with thrilling twists, like Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks – all hosted by Goofy and his crew.
- This definitely looks like one of the more exciting installations inside CommuniCore Hall, and absolutely different from anything else the flex space has seen before.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Get Animated at Animation Courtyard: Animation Courtyard comes alive with energetic performances by magicians and jump rope performers, along with fun games and crafts for little ones while families can “Get Animated" with Mickey Mouse, beloved Disney Jr. friends, and more at an indoor DJ dance party.
- Meanwhile, outside the Disney Jr. theater, guests can meet with more of their Disney friends – including the diva herself, Clarabelle Cow!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Adventure comes alive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom with a special, limited-time Wilderness Explorers badge for kids to unlock while learning about amazing animals, and an interactive sing-along with the Dino Institute Intern wraps up the day with original songs, playful storytelling and plenty of chances for the whole family to join in.
- Over at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, guests can participate in some hands-on crafting activities all about pollinators, like bees and butterflies. Will you hear the song from the now-closed “It’s Tough To Be a Bug"? Guess you’ll have to go over there and find out!
- Cool Kid Summer officially kicks off tomorrow, May 27th and runs through September 1st, 2025 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
