Photos / Video: Disney’s Hollywood Studios Gets Animated for Cool Kid Summer

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is “getting animated" for the arrival of Cool Kid Summer – which officially kicks off tomorrow, May 27th, at all four Walt Disney World parks.

For Cool Kid Summer, Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios comes alive with energetic performances by magicians and jump rope performers, along with fun games and crafts for little ones while families can “Get Animated" with Mickey Mouse, beloved Disney Jr. friends, and more at an indoor DJ dance party.

You’ll find plenty of your Disney Jr. friends inside, including Mickey in his Mickey and the Roadster Racers costume, Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins and more.

The walls surrounding Animation Courtyard have even gotten a colorful makeover for “Get Animated."

Meanwhile, outside the Disney Jr. theater, guests can meet with more of their Disney friends – including the diva herself, Clarabelle Cow!

Here, you can also participate in some arts and crafts, including coloring in this fan which could be quite useful in the harsh Florida sun.

You’ll also find some wandering entertainers, including a magician and a juggler – who we got to watch do his thing for about 10 minutes.

At the back of Animation Courtyard near Star Wars Launch Bay, you can “Get Refreshed" at this snack stand, offering some healthy snacks.
