The Pirate Captain orders, "Clear the decks! Pack the ruddy wreckage away!" The Pirates move the cannons offstage, swab down the deck. Yo Ho can still be heard on the mandolin. "Now Mateys! Show me the latest captives from our plunder!" commands the Captain.
The First Mate makes introductions
"Aye capt'n!," responds the First Mate, "we've got a good crew for 'ya this time. This first one carries ideas inside ‘er like they be messages in a bottle. The crew ‘n’ me calls ‘er 'The Illustrious Irvine!'"
"Aye! That be the famous lady model worker-Kim Irvine-Alison!," announces the Pirate Captain.
"The Illustrious Irvine" - Kim Irvine-Alison
The First Mate opens his book and reads, "The next he be fond o’ treehouses ‘n’ adventure. We call ‘im-'Crow’s Nest Bob!'" "He's the notorious Bob Baranick!" announces the Pirate Captain.
"Crow's Nest Bob" - Bob Baranick
"Another female, Capt’n," declares the First Mate. "This one be real fond o’ parrots! But she's no bird-brain. She's rather crafty, though. We call ‘er 'Hurricane Harriet!'”
The Pirate Captain nods, "Ah, yes! The Lady Harriet Burns!"
"Hurricane Harriet" - Harriet Burns
The First Mate glances behind the curtain, "Then there’s this fellow, he’s been drawin’ mighty fine tattoos. He is a good mate with a quill so we call ‘im 'McKim the Magnificent!'” The Pirate Captain upon seeing the captive announces, "Aye! I know the lad. He etched 'Mother' on me arm, he did! That's the magnificent Sam McKim!"
"McKim the Magnificent" - Sam McKim
The Pirates begin chanting loudly, "We want the Redhead! We want the Redhead!" The Pirate Captain interrupts their cries, "Avast ye yellow-bellied knaves! Let me First Matey speak!" The First Mate continues, "Now this next one's mighty curious indeed. When asked for ‘is name, he puts down a big 'X' like he was markin’ a treasure map or something! We calls ‘im 'X Marks the Spot.'"
"X Marks the Spot" - X. Atencio
The small group of pirates begins chanting again, "We want the Redhead! We want the Redhead!" The First Mate begins again, "The next one be a fair maiden indeed...she even said she’d sew me new buttons on me coat! So we calls ‘er 'Davis The Darlin’ Dresser.'"
"Davis The Darlin' Dresser" - Alice Davis
"We want the Redhead! We want the Redhead!', the pirates begin chanting.
The Pirate Captain welcomes aboard, Alice Davis and turns to his first mate, "Argh! Now, Matey…be there any with hair of flame? Me men be itchin’ again for some redheaded fury!" "Aye, Capt'n!" replies the First Mate, "this last one she's got hair the color of a burnin' ship.." The melodies on the mandolin no longer sound melodic as moderator Tim O'Day appears, hardly the redheaded beauty the Pirates were chanting for.
